One brilliant thing you can do to expand your vocabulary is learn some English phrasal verbs and other little useful expressions that you can slip in to general conversation.
BUT it’s important to learn phrasal verbs in the right way. They can have very different meanings depending on the context. Also, just changing a tiny preposition can change the whole meaning. SO write them down correctly with as much detail as possible (prepositions, objects, definitions) and then add at least 2 clear, memorable examples.
